New Shipping Options

We've received requests to offer other shipping options (re: perfume and small items), so you'll now find a list of them during checkout!

Flat Rate Envelopes - International
The cart system we are currently using isn't setup to ship by weight, so that is why we only offer flat rate shipping through our cart. We do hope to have a better selection of shipping options in the future but soaps, scrubs and lotions tend to weight a hefty amount when combined. Flat rate boxes are really handy with heavier amounts plus the are priority, so they get to you much quicker. This option isn't really helpful if all you want are some perfumes though! So, we've just added the flat rate envelope option that you can select during checkout. These fit up to 8 perfume oils or a small mix of items (see list below).

Items that will fit:
Super Bad EDP
Super Bad Roll-On
Arcana 5ml & 10ml perfumes
Possets Perfume Oils
Cobalt Blend Perfume Oils
The Soap Box – I Smell Good Perfume Oils
Bar Soap (2-8 depending on the size of the bar)
Lip Balms

We put these items in a small box (for extra stability) before putting them in the envelope to help keep them safe on their journey to you. Just contact us if you have any questions about what will fit!

US Flat Rate Priority (for perfume oils and perfume samples only)
Our last shipping option just added! We can box up to 10 perfume oils (Arcana, Cobalt Blends, Possets and/or I Smell Good) and ship them to you using USPS Priority for only $4.95!

We hope our crazy long list of shipping options isn't confusing. We'll give them a test run and see how everything holds up. We've received lots of emails in the past few weeks (from you, our customers), so I hope these options make shopping here a little nicer.

Hello Fellow Bathers!

It seems fall is just around the corner, so we are planning some awesome returns and new scents that will be here in September, but we are not ready to say goodbye to summer yet! It is way to hot out there...I don't even want to think about wearing fall fragrances. I'm still in full-summer scent mode...bring on the berries, florals and fresh scents please!

Speaking of summer scents, our I Smell Good line of fragrances is expanding with the addition of 8 new fragrances! Joining us next week are: Cake, Coconut, Rhubarb, Tomato Leaf, Sea Salt, Cherry, Marshmallow and Plumeria. These are terrific fragrances that are fun to mix, match and layer on.

Some of our Villainess exclusive fragrances will also be returning in September! Look for our favorite fall fragrance, Autumn Gala which will be making its first appearance in Smooch along with Whipped and Soap. First Frost and Lehua will also be here in the next few weeks so you can enjoy them in the last bit of summer heat.

Paypal
Paypal has been a payment option on our site for months now, but we seem to have some issues with it connecting properly from our cart to Paypal. With talking to both parties about our troubles, it seems some browsers (for instance aol) doesn't seem to want to make the connection. If you have a different email address listed in your cart page during checkout than the one you use for paypal, that might also give it a problem connecting. Sometimes I think the system is just wonky and doesn't connect. It doesn't connect about ¼ of the time or less, so we are still going to offer it as a payment option for now. If you have any problems with it connecting for you to finish paying for your order, just send payment directly to: info@thesoapboxco.com through Paypal. Sorry for any inconvenience. We know a lot of you have liked this payment option, so we hope to get the kinks worked out.

Soap Sack
This is our fun little white paper bag that offers mystery goods stashed inside. It's sort-of like a grab bag of products and we change it up as often as we can. Some of you have caught on to our little bag, but it's some-what hidden on our site, so we thought we'd call some attention to it. So far we've offered soap and coupons, super discounted and randomly picked soap bars, discontinued goods and other fun stuff. These are very limited and available when we have extra stuff to put in them. And to top it off, they are usually a really good deal too! You can find the bag under our company section here.

The Sniff of It

While it’s getting hotter and hotter out there (time for the beach!) your bath goodies are going to arrive warm from those hot delivery trucks. We recommend letting your products cool off a bit (to room temperature) before sniffing your new goods. I usually find that the hot products don’t smell as lovely as they do once cooled off.

Scrubs might arrive a little deflated or separated. Just let them cool and give them a stir (if separated), otherwise they’ll still perform and smell wonderfully. Also, a quick note about salt scrubs: Salt scrubs are generally separated with oils on top and the salt on the bottom. They are terrific for scrubbing rough skin (feet, elbows or anywhere that needs a good scrub). They are super moisturizing with all of the skin loving oils and super scrubby. We don’t recommend using them right after shaving (ouch!) or more than once a week (except when using them on your feet). Find new salt scrubs here!

Villainess
Villainess has a terrific summer limited edition line-up that will be here in about one week (or less)! We hope to have their new whipped, scrubs and soap available around June 30^th. You'll be able to find the new goodies in our Villainess section when they arrive.

Bunny Butt Apothecary
Whipped Cream Lotion and luscious lip balms (our favorite Bunny Butt products) will be here in just a few days. We’ll have a bigger selection in these products in some popular Bunny Butt scents.

Oh! New Look!
You might have noticed some site changes here at The Soap Box Company! The function and layout is generally the same, but we’ve changed up the look a bit. We like the “cleaner” style and hope you do to! We are still ironing out a few things and will still be making some changes over the next few days.
