“I woke up as the sun was reddening; and that was the one distinct time in my life, the strangest moment of all, when I didn’t know who I was – I was far away from home, haunted and tired with travel, in a cheap hotel room I’d never seen, hearing the hiss of steam outside, and the creak of the old wood of the hotel, and footsteps upstairs, and all the sad sounds, and I looked at the cracked high ceiling and really didn’t know who I was for about fifteen strange seconds. I wasn’t scared; I was just somebody else, some stranger, and my whole life was a haunted life, the life of a ghost.”
- Jack Kerouac, On the Road
A hauntingly dark madness of white violet leaf tea, Victorian Parma violets, labdanum, and twisting oakmoss infused with a New Orleans hoodoo mystery of Queen Elizabeth root, calamus, and bay.
Note: Small Batch Ultime Concentrates are good for folks who have skin chemistry that 'eats' up scent very quickly or who have challenges getting longevity from perfume. Generally the sillage is also a bit better for ultimes. A little goes quite a long way.
Limited edition, Spring 2017, available while supplies last. Packaged in 5 ml. Amber bottle.
What customers are saying:
This is the most gorgeous violet scent. Not to sweet, with a bit of earthiness to ground it. Perfect for spring/summer, but I will happily wear it year-round.
One of the best violet perfumes I've smelled. A fresh green chypre with a gorgeous (and powerful) powdery violet. Projects very well and lasts all day. If you are a lover of violets this is a must-have!
