Can you really eat the Sensual Edibles candles? You probably could, but we don’t recommend it (how about a nice pastrami sandwich instead?). These Skinny Dip Candles are called Sensual Edibles to designate them as candles made with flavor oils. For those who wish to use the candles during romantic interludes, this line is scented with flavor oils which are made to be tasted. These candles can be used for romance without any bitter after taste.
Ingredients are just slightly different than regular Skinny Dip Candles in that there is no coconut oil, less shea butter/avocado oil, and more beeswax. They work exactly like Skinny Dip Candles, although they are not quite as slippery in order to better hold the flavor oils. They've earned rave reviews so give them a try!
Skinny Dip Candles are specially formulated to be used as a warm lotion for moisturizing cuticles and dry skin, as well as a massage oil. SDC worked with professional massage therapists to achieve just the right blend of ingredients to provide the glide necessary to give a therapeutic massage. As an added benefit, the candle in its un-melted state is essentially a body balm, which can easily be massaged into dry skin areas when lighting the candle isn’t feasible or practical.
Skinny Dip Candles are made with a proprietary blend of:
- Cosmetic-grade soy
- Avocado oil
- Coconut oil
- Shea butter
- Sunflower oil
- Cocoa butter
- Vitamin E
- Skin-safe essential or fragrance oil (depending on scent), or flavor oil (Sensual Edibles line)
Although Skinny Dip Candles are made in accordance with FDA guidelines and all ingredients are skin safe, individuals with known allergies to any of the above ingredients should not use Skinny Dip products.
